Projects

Here are some projects i’ve been created, participated or made some contributions along the time. You can take a look at Ohloh for a detailed view of open source projects contributions.

  • Condição do Mar (Waves Report) [on market] -This is an Android application that shows updated information for surfing in several regions, mainly in Brazil and some spots abroad: daily photos, condition of the weather in real-time, photos and information provided by the users, and to share information on social networks.
  • Yakasurf – It is a kind of social network centered in places to surf. Everyone can sign and register new places, putting photos, videos, comments. You can also vote in your favorite places considering different aspects, such as tubing, maneuverability etc.
  • Rise Template for LateX – This project provides a LaTeX class and template for BSc, MSc and PhD thesis. It is developed by RiSE researchers (http://www.rise.com.br/research) and it is based on UFPE Thesis class from Center for Informatics at Federal University of Pernambuco
  • National Institute of Science and Technology for Software Engineering (INES) – INES has as a global theme to promote software development with high productivity by systematically applying the factory philosophy.
  • An Investigation of Processes, Tools and Metrics for the Development of Software Product Lines (in portuguese) – This is a sub-project of INES. The goal of this project is to investigate and define a set of processes for developing product lines, as well as tooling to support automation their tasks and case studies and experiments to analyze its industrial viability
  • ANKOS – a java based framework for disease focus simulation. This project was performed in the Software Engineering curse provided in the master’s curse grade at CIn/UFPE
  • Emesene – a msn clone written in Python. I have performed some code commits during a period of three months to Emesene project, including a plugin to shake the window. Unfortunately, my spare time is too short to continue contributing. However i am still using this messenger.
  • Daily spent – a self organizer. This is an organizer to control spent. It is web based and developed in Python. Everyone is wellcome to contribute with it.
  • PyCF – Python Component Framework. This project was done as pre-requisite to obtain my Bachelor degree. It consists in a framework do develop any application with Python components according to the framework specification. Furthermore, a key point of this framework is the support for dynamic evolution. I do not ever seen something like this in Python, thus if it of your concern you probably must take a look.
  • youShare – an experimental file sharing system. This is a file sharing system developed in Java as a pre-requisite to the Distributed Systems curse provided in the master’s curse grade at CIn/UFPE
